This application is preferred by the applicant praying to release him on parole for taking treatment from the doctor of his choice for his cardiac illness.
This Court had called for the medical report of the convict prisoner from the jail. It is produced today by learned APP and it is ordered to be taken on record. As per this certificate issued by Medical Officer, Central Jail Dispensary, Ahmedabad dated 5.2.2012, the convict prisoner was referred to U.N.Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre for necessary investigation and expenses for the same was borne by the government. The convict prisoner is sent regularly to the hospital for follow-up. As per the report, he was advised to continue medicines for three months which was also provided by the jail authorities.
Considering these facts, this application is rejected.
