The petitioner sought for the following reliefs:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent no. 2 to issue the Armed licence of N.P.B. 32 bore revolver/pistol to the petitioner for the protection of his personal life and property as well as his family members in pursuance of application dated 23.01.2019.
Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to act in accordance with law."
The application of the petitioner for grant of Fire Armed Licence shall be processed by the authorities in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of.
