Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents.
Challenge in the writ petition is to an order dated 17.7.2020 whereby the State Government has permitted prosecution of the petitioner regarding certain allegations which constitute or may constitute a criminal offence.
We are not prepared to interfere in the matter because the same would amount to interference in any investigation, which power, the High Court does not possess while exercising its power under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
