Heard Sri Deepak Kumar Pal, learned counsel holding brief of Sri D. K. Ojha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
The petitioner sought for the following reliefs:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the respondent no. 2 to issue the Arm licence of N.P.B. 315 bore rifle to the petitioner for the protection of his personal life and property as well as his family members.
Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to act in accordance with law."
The application of the petitioner for grant of Firearms Licence shall be processed by the authorities in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of.
