(Per : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE RAVI R.TRIPATHI) The present appeal is filed by the appellant-original accused against the judgment and order dated 24 th February 2012 rendered in Special Case No.112 of 2008 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge & Special Judge, Banaskantha at Deesa, whereby the accused is convicted for the offence under sections 17 and 29 of the NDPS Act and is awarded rigorous imprisonment for 10 years and fine of Rs.1 lakh and in default of the same further simple imprisonment for 6 months. The appellant is further directed to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 10 years and fine of Rs.1 lakh and in default of the same further simple imprisonment for 6 months for the offence under section 29 of the NDPS Act. Both these sentences are ordered to run concurrently.
