The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to take suitable action on the representation dated 22.05.2017 to ensure security in respect of the Darmaraja Throwpathi Amman Thimithi Thiruvizha (Fire-walk) festival to be conducted between 14.06.2017 to 26.06.2017 by the village people of Vadakuppam Village, Konasamuthiram Post, Pallipet Post, Thiruvallur District.
2.It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the respondents on 22.05.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple between 14.06.2017 to 26.06.2017, the respondents have not passed orders till today.
3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017, by order dated 03.03.2017, in similar circumstances, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner therein and dispose of the same.
4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 12.06.2017. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
