Petitioner claims to have been engaged as Mali by the District Horticulture Officer in 1986, and has continued to work continuously ever since then. It is stated that subsequently on the asking of respondent no.2, petitioner was permitted to work in the Nagar Palika Parishad, Hamirpur since 2007, and he is continuously working. Petitioner submits that his claim for regularization is covered under the Rules of 2001 and also under the Rules of 2016, but no orders have yet been passed.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that grievance of petitioner shall be examined, in accordance with law.
Considering the above, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.2 in respect of his claim for regularization, alongwith certified copy of this order, within two weeks from today. In case such a claim is raised, the same shall be examined by the authority concerned, in accordance with law, by means of a reasoned speaking order, within a further period of four months, thereafter.
