1. The grievance of petitioner is to decide the application of firearm license (under Section 13 of Arms Act) dated 15.10.2018 for Revolver/Pistol, which is still pending before respondent no. 2- District Magistrate, Firozabad and the same has not been decided so far.
2. Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case aforesaid application is still pending and has not been disposed of, the same may be considered and decided expeditiously.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of case, the writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the competent authority to decide petitioner's aforesaid application and pass an appropriate reasoned order after affording an opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties, expeditiously, in accordance with law, provided there is no legal impediment.
