JUDGMENT / ORDER

Application under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
2. Petitioners are accused 1 and 2 in Crime No.431 of 2014 of Vellarikundu Police Station registered for offences punishable under Sections 332 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Prosecution case is that on 03.09.2014 at about 8.30 p.m., while the defacto complainant was working as manager in charge of a retail outlet of Supplyco super market, the accused, because of their previous enmity, assaulted the defacto complainant using a wooden reaper and thereby caused injuries to him.
3. Heard both sides.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that this is a counter blast to another crime registered at the instance of the 1st petitioner's mother alleging that she was molested by the defacto complainant.

5. Considering the nature of allegations, I find that the petitioners may be required for interrogation. Hence the following order.
i. Petitioners shall surrender before the Investigating Officer within a period of seven days from today and submit themselves for interrogation. Thereafter, they shall be released on bail in Crime No.431 of 2014 of Vellarikundu Police Station on each one of them executing bonds for `25,000/- (Rupees twentyfive thousand only) with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer.
ii. Petitioners shall appear before the Investigating Officer as and when required for the purpose of interrogation.
iii. Petitioners shall not influence or intimidate witnesses.
iv. They shall not meddle with the investigation in any manner.
v. If any one of the above conditions is violated by the petitioners, the learned Magistrate having jurisdiction is free to cancel the bail.
