This petition for writ is preferred to challenge the award dated 6.11.2017, passed by the Arbitrator in Arbitration Petition No.
80 of 2015 (Shashi Kumar Jain and others Vs. National Highway Authority and others).
The appropriate statutory remedy available to the petitioner to challenge the award impugned is under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
We do not find any just reason to entertain this petition for writ petition ignoring the statutory remedy available to the petitioner.
The writ petition hence, is dismissed.
The petitioner is at liberty to avail the remedy under Section 34 of the Act in accordance with law.
