Mangalsinh vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|09 January, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Present applicant-prisoner has filed present application for bail, pending the appeal, through jail.
I have gone through the papers produced before me. It appears from the papers that the present applicant-prisoner has been convicted by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No.9, Vadodara for the offence punishable under Section 304 (Part II), 114, 34 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code and was ordered to undergo seven years simple imprisonment and to pay fine of Rs.1,250/-, in default of payment of fine, ordered to undergo further simple imprisonment for one month and eight days in Sessions Case No.03 of 1999.
Heard Mr.H.H. Parikh, learned Additional Public Prosecutor and also perused papers. It appears that appeal is pending before this Court and is likely to be disposed of within short time. Hence, I am of the opinion that the present application deserves to be dismissed and is hereby dismissed.
