After some argument, counsel for the petitioner prayed for withdrawal of the petition as not pressed, with liberty reserved in favour of the applicant to apply for waiver of period of six months provided under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, in terms of judgment of the Supreme Court in Amardeep Singh Versus Harveen Kaur, 2017(8) SCC 746.
The prayer made is allowed.
The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty aforesaid reserved in favour of the petitioner.
