Alongwith the written instructions supplied today, an order dated 28th May, 2018 passed by the Director, Social Welfare, U.P., Lucknow has been brought on record to submit that the entire departmental enquiry initiated against the petition is brought to an end pursuant to the enquiry report dated 19.12.2012 wherein three charges levelled against the petitioner were not found proved. The said order records that the petitioner has retired on 30.4.2017.
In view of the said decision brought on record, it is more than apparent that the petitioner is entitled for the retiral dues alongwith other benefits admissible to the post from which he has retired.
The competent authority is, therefore, directed to process the retiral dues of the petitioner, expeditiously, and release the payments, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of submission of certified copy of this order.
In case of any delay on the part of the competent authority beyond the period of two months, the petitioner would be entitled to interest at the bank rate.
Disposed of.
