Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent states that subject to verification of all facts, the pending statutory appeal, shall be considered and disposed of with expedition and preferably within a period of four months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
