Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned Standing Counsel for opposite party.
The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for willful disobedience of the order dated 02.11.2020 passed in Writ Petition No. 9060 of 2020 (Mahesh Prasad Gupta Vs. State of U.P. and others).
Today when the matter is taken up, learned Standing Counsel for opposite party filed affidavit of compliance before this Court, the same is on record. It is stated the affidavit that in compliance of the order of Writ Court the order of the Writ Court has been fully complied with in its letter and spirit.
The aforesaid fact is not denied by the learned counsel for the applicant. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
In this view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that since the order of the writ court has already been complied with, therefore, no further order is required to be passed in the matter.
Accordingly, the present contempt application is dismissed.
