1. Heard Sri Sunil Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1. Sri Azad Rai, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.2. Notice need not be issued to respondents No. 3 to 18 at this stage.
2. The only relief sought in the writ petition is that partition suit No.2822 of 2019, Computerize Case No.T-201902030402822 (Mahesh Lal and another vs. Suresh Lal and others) under Section 116 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 pending since 12.11.2018 before Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Handia, District Prayagraj, respondent no.1, be directed to be decided expeditiously.
3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or calling for counter affidavit, as such, respondent No.1 is directed to decide the aforesaid case, expeditiously, in accordance with law, if there is no legal impediment in deciding the same, preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order downloaded from the website of the High Court, after hearing all the parties concerned.
4. Writ petition stands disposed of.
