Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the stay application of the petitioners filed along with restoration application as well as restoration application of the petitioner within stipulated fixed time period pending since 09.01.2019."
The petitioner is aggrieved as his application for demarcation under Section 24 of the Act filed on 09.01.2019 has not been decided finally till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Bah, District Agra to endeavour to decide the application of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.
It is, however, provided that the similar matters, which have remained pending for a longer period, must necessarily be afforded preference.
