Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
The applicant is accused in Case No. 3460 of 2014 (State Vs. Abhinav) arising out of First Information Report dated 17 July 2013, registered as Case Crime No. 462 of 2013 alleging commission of offences under Sections 498A,323 IPC and 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station Civil Lines, District Muzaffarnagar.
The only prayer advanced on this petition is for expedition of the trial of the aforementioned case. However, as the ordersheet reveals on consecutive and multiple dates, the applicant himself has either not appeared or had sought exemption from appearance. In light of the aforesaid facts, the Court finds no ground to issue the peremptory directions as prayed for.
The application stands dismissed.
