By consent of both the learned counsels, both these Writ Petitions are disposed of by this common order.
2. The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petitions to issue writs of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners representations dated 24.04.2017 within a time frame.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have given the representations dated 24.04.2017 seeking for details with regard to the balance amount payable by them. However, the 2nd respondent has not considered the same yet.
4. Mr.V.Anandhamoorthy, learned standing counsel taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners representations and pass orders in accordance with law.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in these Writ Petitions, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners representations dated 24.04.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With these observations, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
