JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 16.02.2017 to execute and register the Sale Deed in respect of Plot No.79 (C) measuring 2.46 sq. meter of land comprised in T.S.No.36, Block No.16 of Puliyur Revenue Village, Thiruvenkatapuram Scheme.
2. Mr.B.Kesavan, learned Standing Counsel for Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
