JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent Tahsildar to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2017 for issuance of computer patta.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2017 for issuance of computer patta, the 2nd respondent has not issued the same yet.
3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2017 for issuance of computer patta in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
