JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition has been filed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.414 of 2015 pending on the file of the respondent, within a stipulated time frame.
2. With regard to a civil dispute, the petitioner / de facto complainant has given a complaint against the accused, to the respondent police and the same was also registered in Crime No.414 of 2015 on 24.01.2015, but till now, the respondent neither proceeded with investigation nor filed charge sheet. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that due to the negligent attitude of the respondent, the petitioner and his family are suffering a lot. In these circumstances, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police, as already stated supra.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondent.
4. Heard both the sides.
5. Considering the fact that the case was registered as early as on 24.01.2015, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.414 of 2015, and file final report, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
