2. It is the case of the petitioner that since the respondent has not taken any steps on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 08.08.2016, he has filed a petition in CMP.No.12 of 2017 before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Pondicherry under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case against one Anuratha and others. The said petition was taken up for hearing and an elaborate argument was made on the side of the petitioner. However, till date, no order was passed by the learned Magistrate. Hence, this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice for the respondent.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Pondicherry to dispose of the case in CMP.No.12 of 2017 pending on his file, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
