Heard Sri Ajay Vikram Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Ghanshyam Dwivedi, learned standing counsel for the State- respondents and Sri Sahab Tiwari, learned counsel representing respondent no.3.
By means of this petition framed as Public Interest Litigation, the petitioner claims that the Nagar Nigam and its employees should refund the excess House Tax and Water Tax charged from the residents/owners.
In our considered opinion, it is purely a private dispute and the grievance, if any, is of the house owners/occupants who have paid excess house tax and water tax, such issue cannot be raised in Public Interest Litigation.
The petition is accordingly dismissed.
