Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Standing Counsel for State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed for mandamus directing to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Etawah, to pay House Rent Allowance (H.R.A.) to the petitioners.
It has been stated that the petitioners were posted within the district Etawah and they were not allotted the official accommodation. Therefore, under the Government Orders dated 8.12.2008 and 11.6.1999, they are entitled for House Rent Allowance (H.R.A.). The petitioners had already moved a representation in this respect before Senior Superintendent of Police, Etawah. Petitioners shall also be at liberty to submit alongwith certified copy of this order, a declaration in the requisite format, clarifying that the petitioners have not been paid H.R.A. and no official accommodation has been allotted to him.
The writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Etawah to pass an appropriate order on the representation of the petitioners within a period of six weeks from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the concerned authority.
