1. Sri Om Prakash Ojha, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his only claim is that respondent no.3 i.e. Deputy Director Horticulture, Allahabad Region, Allahabad be directed to consider case of the petitioner for payment of minimum wages as are admissible to a regularized employee against the post of Sweeper in the light of the decisions of Hon'ble Supreme Court in case of State of U.P. and others Vs. Putti Lal; (2006) 9 SCC 337 and State of Punjab and others Vs. Jagjit Singh and others; (2017) 1 SCC 148, through a speaking order.
2. Accordingly, writ petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent no.3 i.e. Deputy Director Horticulture, Allahabad Region, Allahabad to consider petitioner's representation in the light of the aforesaid judgments of the Supreme Court for grant of minimum wages against the regular post of Sweeper within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of computer generated copy of this order in PDF form.
3. In above terms, writ petition is disposed off.
4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.
