Heard Sri Kamlesh Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondent nos. 1 to 4 and Sri B.K. Tripathi, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 5.
It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that license of fair price shop of petitioner was suspended on 05.06.2021. A show cause notice was issued and reply was submitted on 28.06.2021 which till date has not been decided by the authority concerned. Sole prayer of the petitioner before this Court is a direction to respondent no. 3 to take decision in the matter.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, as such, respondent no. 3/District Supply Officer, District Ghazipur, is directed to conclude the proceedings in question, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of next two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order downloaded from the website of the High Court, after hearing all the parties concerned.
Writ petition stands disposed of.
