The writ petition has been filed for issuing mandamus directing Senior Superintendent of Police Jhansi and Station House Officer, Chirgaon, district Jhansi (respondents-2 and 3) to ensure fair and impartial investigation in the Case Crime No.158 of 2018, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 452, 506, 397, IPC, P.S. Chirgaon, Jhansi.
The F.I.R. was lodged on 13.6.2018. Earlier the informant got investigation transfered to Crime Branch but later on it has again been transferred to police station concerned. Thereafter, the police is not proceeding in the matter.
In the fact of the case the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Jhansi and Station House Officer, Chirgaon, Jhansi (respondents-2 and 3 respectively) shall ensure fair and impartial investigation in Case Crime No.158 of 2018, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 452, 506, 397, IPC, P.S. Chirgaon, Jhansi and submission of police report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before them.
