The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Firozabad where Divorce Petition No.755 of 2016 under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 is pending, to decide the same on the next date i.e. 14.5.2018.
In case the parties have already entered into a compromise and the petition has been filed for grant of divorce on basis of mutual consent under Section 13-B, it is desirable that the proceedings are concluded expeditiously. It is directed accordingly.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
