Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:-
"I. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.1 to appoint the Chairman of District Consumer Redressal Commission, Prayagraj forthwith to replace the machine mentioned above and compensate the petitioner.
II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents no. 3, 4 and 5 to replace Dr. Aquaguard Enrich HDRO + UV+MTDS Machine bearing no. 1231503006015997."
Regard being had to the facts and submissions, we request the State Government to take expeditious decision in the matter as per the new Rules so that the difficulty of several consumers are redressed.
With these observations, present petition is disposed of.
