Heard Sri Pawan Kumar (A/P 0123/2012) holding brief of Sri Irfan Ahmad Malik, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Satish Chaturvedi, learned counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a directing to the respondent nos. 2 and 3 to release a sum of Rs. 10,00,000/- which is stated to have for fixed deposit scheme by the petitioner in the name of his wife, Smt. Kamlesh with the Bank, respondent no.3.
It is stated that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 9.4.2019 before the Regional Manager, State Bank of India, Meerut, a copy of which has been filed as Annexure 5 to the writ petition.
No useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter pending.
We, therefore, dispose of this writ petition with the direction to the Regional Manager, State Bank of India, Meerut, respondent no.2 to consider and decide the representation dated 9.4.2019 of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a further period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order in his office.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioners on merits.
