Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.
By means of the present petition, the applicant has sought for a suitable direction to the court below to expedite the trial of S.T. No.239 of 2017 arising out of Case Crime No.144 of 2016, under Sections 147, 307, IPC, P.S. Kotwali Shahar, District Rampur, within the time stipulated by this Court.
The submission is that the trial is pending since the year 2017 and one witness has been examined. Prayer has been made for expediting the trial.
The trial is only of the year 2017. The application is disposed of with a direction to the court below to conclude the trial expeditiously preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of the order before it after securing the presence of the witnesses.
