JUDGMENT / ORDER

Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of habeas corpus to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 18.05.2017 in S.C.No.29/2017 against the petitioner's husband, Naga @ Nagaraj, Male, aged 39 years, son of Muniellappa, who is confined at Central Prison, Salem, and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to call for the records relating to detention order, dated 18.05.2017, passed in S.C.No.29/2017, by the detaining authority against the detenu, by name Naga @ Nagaraj, aged 39 years, Son of Muniellappa, residing at Parvathi Nagar, Hosur, now at No.54, Springdel Layout, Karappali, Hosur Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and quash the same.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented to the effect that the detention order in question has already been quashed by way of passing G.O. Rt.No.3224, dated 03.07.2017 and a copy of the same is submitted for perusal of the Court and this Court has perused the same and ultimately, found that the detention order in question has already been quashed.
3. Since the detention order in question has already been quashed, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
In fine, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
