The case of the petitioner is that his house No. 8/360/1 and 8/361/1 situated at Bhogipura, Shahganj, Agra is in dilapidated state. He approached the Nagar Nigam, Agra by application dated 7.1.2020 for granting permission to carry out demolition and reconstruction of the house but till date no permission has been granted as alleged in paragraph no.8.
Learned standing counsel states that no useful purpose will be served in keeping the writ petition pending, the same be disposed of by giving appropriate direction to the respondent concerned.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the competent authority to decide the pending application dated 7.1.2020, or a fresh application, as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order, in accordance with law.
