Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"a) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2/ Tehsildar, Tehsil Harraiya, District Basti to decide the Case No.676/2005, (Smt. Kisana Devi Versus Smt. Phoola Devi) u/s 34 L.R. Act, of village Jatauliya, Tappa Sikandarpur, Pargana Amodha, Tehsil Harraiya, District Basti, pending before him, within stipulated period which Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."
It has been stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner in the year 2005 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2/ Tehsildar, Tehsil Harraiya, District Basti to endeavour to decide the mutation case of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him Order Date :- 25.7.2019 RKM
