JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for committing contempt of Court by wilfully and wantonly disobeying the order passed by this Court dated 14.06.2016 made in Crl.O.P.No.12036 of 2016.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.S.Saravanan, Inspector of Police, S-7, Madipakkam Police Station is present, as in the capacity of incharge of S 10, Pallikaranai Police Station.
3. On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted that investigation in Crime No.1797 of 2016 has been completed and final report has been filed before the Tahsildar, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, on 04.01.2017.
4. In view of the above, the Tahsildar, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, is directed to take photocopies of all the records and retain the same on his file and send the original records to the jurisdictional Magistrate vz., the Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur, by filing a protest application, within four weeks thereafter, if she is not satisfied with the investigation conducted by the police. With the above liberty, the contempt petition is closed.
