Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following among other relief:-
"I). Issue a writ, order or direction to the court below to decide the case/ suit no. T201802030801971 of 2018 (Raj Bihari versus Vachaspati) under section 22-B of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, pending before the court of Sub Divisional Officer Meja/Assistant Collector Meja Allahabad within stipulated period of time fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
It is stated by the counsel for the petitioner that a declaration suit filed under Section 22-B of the Revenue Code is pending consideration since the year 2018.
In view of the above, without entering into the merits of the controversy between the parties, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 2, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Meja, Prayagraj to consider and decide the case expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
