Shekar, Advocate) This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to allow this writ petition and issue a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other writ order or direction to quash the award dated 30.11.2017 in IDA.No.3/2016 passed by the Labour Court, Chikmagalur (Annexure-R) and etc., This writ petition is coming on for Preliminary Hearing this day, the Court made the following:
ORDER R. DEVDAS J., (ORAL):
The parties to the proceeding have filed a Joint Memo dated 13.3.2019 agreeing to settle the matter in the following terms:
“The petitioner-Corporation to pay the respondent terminal benefits taking into consideration continuity of service and consequential benefits, the respondent is not entitled for any back wages from the date of dismissal till the date of superannuation of the workman”.
2. The Joint Memo is taken on record. The petition is disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo. The impugned order dated 30.11.2017 at Annexure – R stands modified in terms of the settlement stated above.
3. The petitioner-Corporation shall comply with the terms of settlement within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
