While granting the interim relief, this court vide its order dated 1.4.1999 extended the order of status quo till the preparation and publication of the final gradation list. Learned State counsel is not in a position to appraise this court as to whether the order passed on 1.4.1999 has been complied with or not. Learned counsel for the State has sought adjournment to have further instructions in this matter from the department. Adjournment is granted. However, it is made clear that no further adjournment for this purpose shall be given. Adjourned to 10.2.2012.
