JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2017 so as to transfer the patta bearing No.579, in survey No.527/3B situated in Elagiri Village, Nallampalli Taluk, Dharmapuri District in the name of the petitioner within a time frame.
2. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a time frame.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2017 for transfer of patta and pass orders on merits and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
