Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondent.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"(I) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to hear and decide the Case No.T2016143658033393 (Kamta Prasad Yadav Vs. Sriram and others) U/s 34 of U.P. Revenue Code 2006, pending before him within stipulated period which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, during the pendency of the writ petition before this Hon'ble Court otherwise the applicant shall suffer irreparable loss and injury."
It is stated that mutation application filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since October, 2016.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2, Tehsildar, Tehsil Macchalishahar, District Jaunpur to endeavour to decide the case of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
