Heard Sri Surendra Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Purushottam Maurya, learned A.G.A. for the respondent nos. 1 to 3.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the police authorities to conclude the investigation in respect of Case Crime No. 0275 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 323, 324, 504, 506, 308 I.P.C., P.S. Shahganj, District Agra.
According to the petitioner on 29.03.2018, he lodged an FIR against the private respondent nos. 4 to 7 but till date the investigation has not been completed nor the charge sheet has been filed by the police and it seems that the accused persons are being protected by the police. Learned counsel submits that purpose of filing this petition would be served if directions are issued to the police authorities to investigate the matter fairly and impartially.
State counsel submits that the police authorities are under the obligation to do the investigation fairly and impartially and the same would be done in accordance with law.
The present petition is disposed of directing the police authorities to conclude the investigation of the said case fairly, impartially and expeditiously in accordance with law on the basis of evidence so collected.
