JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 19
Case :- MATTERS UNDER ARTICLE 227 No. - 395 of 2019 Petitioner :- Kamla Devi Respondent :- The Court Of Addl. Judge Small Causes, Allahabad And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Jagdish Narayan Gupta Hon'ble Manoj Kumar Gupta,J.
The sole relief claimed in the instant petition is for issuing a direction to the Court of Small Causes before whom SCC Suit No.7 of 2008 is pending at the behest of the petitioner, to decide the same within a specified time frame.
The suit is pending since the year 2008. A perusal of the order sheet reveals that since last several dates, the matter was getting adjourned, as the court was lying vacant.
Counsel for the petitioner states that recently Presiding Officer has been posted in the court.
Since the matter is of the year 2008, it is desirable that trial court should make endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties.
The petition stands disposed of according.
