The petitioner claims that the Public Works Department is constructing a drain for discharge of rain water of abadi but the drain is at a reverse incline which would result in collection of water and therefore, wastage of public funds.
It appears that expressing his grievance, the petitioner has already made a representation to the District Collector, Bijnor. By this petition, a decision is sought on the said representation.
Considering the nature of the grievance expressed in this petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits on the claim of the petitioner, we deem it appropriate to dispose off this petition by giving liberty to the petitioner to file a comprehensive representation before the second-respondent, who shall call for report from the Public Works Department concerned and take appropriate measures expeditiously, if required.
