Petitioner's application for renewal of his sawmill licence appears to be engaging attention of the third respondent. Certain guidance appears to have been sought from the State level officials and that is how the matter is kept pending.
Learned Standing Counsel states that an appropriate order would be passed by the competent authority, in accordance with law.
As the authorities are already ceased of the matter, we dispose off this writ petition with a direction upon the respondent no. 3 to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's pending application for renewal of sawmill licence, within a period of three months, from the date of presentation of a copy of this order.
