Advocate - for R1 to R4 ORDER The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 19.02.2015 and dispose of the same, within a time frame.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has filed the appeal as early as on 19.02.2015, the same has not yet been disposed of.
3. Ms.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, within a time frame, in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 5th respondent.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 19.02.2015 and dispose of the same, after giving notice to the 5th respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
