JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioners to quash the criminal proceedings in C.C.3917 of 2009 pending against them on the file of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the 1st accused in the case and the defacto complainant, on whose complaint, the case in Crime No.6 of 2009 was registered by the respondent/Police have become re-united with each other and living happily in the matrimonial home and therefore, the learned counsel has made an endorsement on the petition saying that this petition might be closed for the reasons afore stated.
3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is closed as nothing survives in this petition to be proceeded with. The 1st accused had also filed an affidavit to that effect, which is also recorded. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
