The principal prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide the application for temporary injunction in Original Suit No. 626 of 2019. The petitioner has also prayed for a direction to the parties to maintain status quo till the disposal of the application for temporary injunction.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that on 02.07.2019, the trial court declined to grant ad interim ex parte injunction. It issued notices to the defendants inviting objections against the application for temporary injunction, fixing 17.07.2019.
The order dated 02.07.2019 declining to grant ex parte ad interim injunction is not under challenge and thus, no case is made out for grant of such an injunction by this Court.
However, it is considered desirable that soon after service on the defendant is effected, the trial court should dispose of application for temporary injunction without any further delay.
It is directed accordingly.
The petition stands disposed of.
