1. Petitioner is seeking following relief :-
"i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 i.e. Prescribed Authority (Ceiling), Gorakhpur to decide the application dated 9.6.2021 under Section 11 (2) of the U.P. Imposition of Ceiling of Land Holdings Act, 1960 along with stay application filed by the petitioner in Case No.00410 of 2021 (computerized No.D202105310000410) (State vs. Saiyad Jahir Ali) (Annexure No.3 to the writ petition) within some stipulated period."
2. Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case aforesaid case is still pending and has not been disposed of, the same may be considered and decided expeditiously.
3. Heard Shri Kamlesh Kumar, Advocate holding brief of Shri Sudhanshu Pandey, learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to Competent Authority to decide petitioner's aforesaid case and pass appropriate reasoned order after affording opportunity of hearing to all concerned parties within a period of six months from today.
