This writ petition has been filed praying for the following reliefs:
"(i) A writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned First Information Report dated 15.11.2020 registered as Case Crime No. 0088 of 2020, under Section 3(1) U.P.Gangster and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, Police Station- Raipur, District- Sonbhadra (Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition).
(ii) A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to arrest the petitioner in pursuance of impugned First Information Report."
At the very outset, Sri Arunendra Kumar Singh, learned AGA submits that the petitioners have already surrendered before the competent authority on 3.3.2021, as such, the writ petition itself rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the same.
Consequently, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
